I am trying to connect my ipad to the HP Envy 7640 e printer. Keeps asking for a password-I do not know it

Are you trying to connect to the WiFi Direct? Is yes, the default password is 12345678.

 

Also, refer to the document HP Printers - Printing from an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch for help.
