Last week my HP Envy Photo 6220 was working fine, this week, instead of printing a document, ie a word document for example, it prints lots of pages and the first page always has the same coding. The first line says % 1 PS-Adobe-3.0, then tabbed along a bit on the second line, it says %APL/DSC_Encoding : UTF8, the tabbed along again on third line it says %APLProducer : (Version 10.15.3 (Build 19D76.
I have checked that the printer and the MAC are connected to the same WIFI which they are and I have even tried to reset the printer by removing it and adding it again, but now all I get when I print is the above issue. Can anyone shed some light on what the problem is and what I can do to fix it please? Thanks in advance, any advice would really be appreciated.

@Wendy1965, Welcome to HP Support Community!
I see that the output documents have irrelevant text while printing from your Mac Computer. Let us try to isolate and resolve the issue.
What happens when you make photocopies on the printer?
Do you get similar outputs printing from other applications?
Meanwhile, Update the printer firmware
Download available firmware updates from the HP website
With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
You mentioned about resetting the printing system and adding the printer back, have you tried using the AirPrint drivers? If not, here is how you do it-
Ensure that the Mac is up to date with its software. If you are unsure you may use the link below to update the Mac software:
Remove and add the printer
Click the Apple menu, and then select System Preferences.
Depending on your operating system version, click Print & Fax, Print & Scan, or Printers & Scanners.
Click the name of your printer, click the Minus sign, and then delete the printer.
Click the Plus sign, and then click Add Printer or Scanner.
Click the Use or Print Using box, and then select AirPrint
Click Add to add the printer to the list.
Try to print.
Keep me posted for further assistance.
