HP Recommended

I purchased a HP ENVY Photo 7855 printer under the impression it had bluetooth printing capabilities. I use the printer where wifi is unreliable but printing is necessary. I can't figure out how to get it set up and the rabbit holes I have dove into on the internet have not helped. I have basic computer knowledge.

Hi,

The printer does not support Bluetooth printing, it supports BLE, which is a method to connect the printer to a wireless network, not to print over Bluetooth, as described on page 116 of its user guide

 

HP Smart uses Bluetooth for printer setup only. Printing using Bluetooth is not supported.

You may use WiFi Direct to print wirelessly with a direct connection to your printer, see page 121.
