HP Envy6452e connect to Mobile Hotspot

I recently got rid of my wireless internet service at my home because it is cheaper to just use my mobile hotspot.   

I am a hp instant ink customer and owns a wifi printer HP ENVY 6452e . I am trying hard to connect my printer to my mobile Hotspot but no success. I read multiple discussions to connect printer to Mobile hotspot but not helpful much.

Please share detail steps on how can I connect my printer to my mobile hotspot?  Thanks

• Turn on the Printer: Make sure your HP Envy 6452e printer is turned on and ready for setup.
• Access Printer Settings: On the printer's control panel, navigate to the wireless settings or network settings menu. This may vary slightly depending on the specific model of your printer.
• Enable Wi-Fi Direct: Wi-Fi Direct allows your printer to connect directly to your mobile device without needing to go through a traditional Wi-Fi network. Enable Wi-Fi Direct from the printer's settings menu.
• Search for Wi-Fi Networks: Once Wi-Fi Direct is enabled, your printer will start searching for available Wi-Fi networks.
• Activate Mobile Hotspot: On your mobile device (e.g., smartphone or tablet), activate the mobile hotspot feature. This is typically found in the device settings under "Network" or "Connections." Enable the hotspot and make sure it's broadcasting.
• Connect Printer to Mobile Hotspot: On your printer's control panel, select the option to connect to a new Wi-Fi network or Wi-Fi Direct. Your printer should detect the mobile hotspot you activated in the previous step.
• Enter Hotspot Password (if applicable): If your mobile hotspot is secured with a password, you'll need to enter the password using the printer's control panel.
• Complete Setup: Follow any on-screen prompts or instructions provided by your printer to complete the setup process. Once connected, your printer should display a confirmation message indicating that it is now connected to the mobile hotspot.

Thanks for sharing the steps. I am able to follow initial steps but below steps are confusing because there is no display on my Printer control panel. There only touch buttons & multi colored light signals.  How my Printer can select my Hotspot & how I can enter hotspot Password?

I am able to connect my Printer (in Wifi direct ON mode) with my Windows Laptop and able to scan pages but my HP smart app is not able to connect to internet because that time my Laptop is connected to my Printer Wifi direct network.

I got only half success. 

I want my Printer to be connected to my Laptop as well as HP smart app to internet so that HP ink server should be able to communicate with my Printer. Pl share your comments
