%10 of the time HP Eprint is working for me, but most of the time it isn't. I have deleted my account and created it again but it is still acting the same. I have tried sending documents to the printer from hotmail and **bleep** accounts with the saem results.

When I look at the status on the printer it shows that its online and I am entering the email address shown.

I have unplugged the printer for several minutes and plugged it back in, and I have unplugged the ethernet from it and plugged it back in.

The printer will print a test page when I ask it to do so from the touch screen.

  Thoughts?

The printer in question is a office jet pro 8720

2 one page documents did just print, but I sent them to the HPEprint email address about 45 minutes ago. I sent each document from a different email address, it seems that the HP Eprint service is just slow right now? And has been having issues for some time?

Yes, the ePrint service can be slow.

It is not an issue as much as something about which you need be aware.

Once in a while, the service actually gets into trouble - these instances are quickly investigated by HP and corrected.

The rest of the time, if there are too many thousands of requests during a short amount of time, some of these jobs just have to wait longer in the queue.

Speculation

The system is automated - that is, the service is run and monitored by machine - alerts are sent to support only if the service suffers a particular failure on a list of "watch for these errors".

The failure of one job within the zillions sent to the servers is not visible except to the person who does not get his job printed.
