I am trying to connect my printer to my network using the wifi settings on the printer Control panel display.  No trouble finding the network I want to connect to, my issue is I can't figure out how the key system works in order to enter the password.

For example, alpha option keys have three letters per key, numeric option keys have two numerals per key.  How do I toggle between them to get the letter/numeral I need to enter the password?  I have searched for over a day trying to find a manual that explains this- please help!

@mjgallery, Welcome to HP Support Community!

You can press the button until the correct letter appears. For example, to enter the letter b press the button labeled ABC. Each time you press the button, the display shows a different letter either caps or lower case.

You can toggle between the number pad and alphabets by looking for the number key/alpha key at the bottom of the keypad.

Alternatively, you can set up the printer on the wireless network using the WPS method. Follow the instructions on this link.

Keep me posted.

Cheers 🙂
