Hi @Maurice800,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thank you for sharing the details. Let’s break this down and solve it step by step:

Issues You Mentioned

  1. HP OfficeJet 3830 driver update and Windows Update error 0x800f020b
This error usually means Windows Update cannot install the printer driver because the device is either disconnected or the driver package is blocked.
  2. Printing from a cell phone is incomplete
This often happens due to outdated firmware or app issues.
  3. The queue says “No Documents”
Indicates the print job is not reaching the printer or is failing before spooling.

🛠️ Fixes

1. Resolve 0x800f020b Driver Update Issue

  • Disconnect the printer from the USB (if connected).
  • Go to Settings > Windows Update > View Update History → Uninstall any failed printer updates.
  • Download the latest driver manually from HP:
    👉 HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One Printer series | HP® Support
  • Install using HP Easy Start (recommended for Windows 11).

2. Fix Mobile Printing

  • Update the HP app on your phone.
  • Make sure the printer firmware is up to date:
    • From the printer panel: Setup > Printer Maintenance > Update Printer.
  • Ensure your phone and printer are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  • If printing is still incomplete, try saving the file as a PDF before printing.

3. Clear Print Queue

  • On Windows:
    • Press Windows + R, type services.msc.
    • Find Print Spooler, right-click → Restart.
  • Then retry printing.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
