Have installed a new OfficeJet Pro 8710 printer and am attempting to connect via wifi. I have the network credentials.  When pressing the wireless icon on the display, he printer displays:  "This feature has been disabled.  Contact the person who set up the printer."

I am the person who set up the printer.  I have attempted the printer restore options, but they do not resolve the problem.  How do I reset the printer to out-of-the box condition so that I can go through the initial set-up again?

I have the same problem but you answered the others in a private message so how does that help the rest of us.

"This feature has been disabled. Contact the person who set up the printer."  It was me.

Please help. Thank you.

Hey there! @mmcmil8308, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!

I understand you have wireless issues with your printer.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

Did you make any changes to your printer?

Try restoring the printer network settings to default and try connecting the printer back to wireless.

1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the
Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ).
2. Touch Network Setup.
3. Touch Restore Network Settings.
A message appears stating that the network defaults will be restored.
4. Touch Yes.
5. Print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset

Refer the printer user guide for more information.

Note: Refer page 142 for more information.

Also, refer this article to know more information about setting up the printer.

Let me know if this helps!

Have a pleasant day ahead! 🙂
