I have a Mac. My printer won't print from it all of a sudden. It shows "ready to print" but nothing ever prints. My printer is about 2 weeks old and used twice. Why is this happening. Yes, my wireless is connected.

Welcome to the HP Forums, this is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that your HP Officejet 8710 printer is not printing. I would like to help you resolve this issue.

However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,

When did this issue start?

Did you do any hardware or software changes?

Are you getting any error messaged while printing?

Meanwhile:

Make a stand alone copy and check if that works.

Perform a power reset

  1. Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Wait at least 30 seconds.
  5. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  6. Turn on the printer.

Reply with the result of the above-mentioned steps, for further assistance.

Cheers.

I have a PC and am having the same problem. Went through the recommended steps but problem remains.  the printer is about 2 months old and never had this problem before. I also restarted my PC, made sure driver is updated.  And did the wizard, which easily printed a test page! But I cannot print a word doc. HELP! Thank you.
