Printer is taking out blank pages when copying or printing from the coomputer. The scanner works and all ink levels are high and fresh. There is no error message displayed. I tried running the wizard on my computer and this did nothing for it either. I did get a new computer since I have had this printer I don't know if this affects it since I usually print through the USB cable. Any help is appreciated.

I see from the post that you are having issues with your HP Photosmart printer printing only blank pages, Don't worry we'll try our best to help you with this,

Please make sure that the printer is connected directly to the wall outlet and not to the surge protector.

Remove all the ink cartridges and then perform a Hard Reset on the printer.

* With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

* Remove USB cable, if present.

* Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.

* Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord and then plug back the power cord to the printer.

* Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.

* Now insert the ink cartridges and then try to print a test document and check if it works.

Let’s first try and make a “photocopy” to determine whether the issue is with the printer or not. Place a document on the scanner glass and choose “Copy” option. If the printer is making a good copy, then the printer hardware is fine.

Use genuine HP cartridges

Allow the printer to rest

Check the print settings

Check the estimated ink levels, and then replace any low or empty cartridges

Clean the area around the nozzles

Replace the problem cartridge

I did as instructed and it worked.  Yay.  Took some print tries but I got the document I needed finally printed.  Thank you.  However, in print preview, blank pages are displayed sometimes.  Need info on what I am doing wrong.  But now I have the printed document.  Yay again

A blank page comes out when alignment is tested.

Did all the steps of unplugging and taking ink out but when I plug it back in the printer started by it self.
