Hi all,
I'm having trouble printing from my android device (KitKat, 4.4.4) through the HP Print Service Plugin as it won't turn on. Anytime I try to turn it on, I get an error message: "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped." and it stays off.
I tried to update the plugin and reinstall it several times to no avail. What's more I don't even have a Print option in my phone settings and I can reach the plugin's turn on/off setting only via the HP Smart app.
I would appreciate any help! Thanks!

Welcome to HP Support Community
Are you able to print via the HP Smart App?
I suggest you uninstall the HP Print Service Plugin and restart your phone
Next clear the Android OS Print Spooler cache
-
On your Android device, tap Settings
, and then select Apps or Applications.
-
Select Show System Apps.
-
Scroll down the list, and then select Print Spooler.
Depending on your Android device, tap Storage, and then select Print Spooler.
-
Select Clear Data.
Download the HP Print Service Plugin and try printing
Keep me posted how it goes 😊
