I installed the HP Smart app on my iPhone but the scan to email function won't work. It gives this error message "Cannot Send Email An email account has not been set up yet. After your printer has been connected, us the mobile device's Mail app to set up your email"
My email is setup and works fine but the HP Smart App desn't seem to want to play..., not so smart.

As I understand scan to email is functioning.
Can you please help me with the printer model?
However, follow the below steps.

Make sure your Apple iOS device is connected to the same wireless network that your current printer is connected to, or that you want to connect a new printer to.

On your Apple iOS device, download and install the HP Smart app (in English) from the App Store.

After installation, open the app, and then tap Start.

Accept the terms and conditions, and then tap Continue.

The app searches for printers connected to the network.
