I have an HP 3755 all-in-one printer. Since late last year it has been printing black ink like bubble letters. Just outlines with no filling. For the longest time, I printed in color and didn't fix it. Today I decided to try to fix it and none of the recommendations I could find did anything. So I gave up and did a factory reset. Now I can't get it to connect to the internet. I tried like 7 different things I found in the printer guide and online until I found a video explaining that I should re-add the printer to the HP Smart App.
Enter the subsequent frustration. I get the app to locate the printer and then tap Continue to have the app find networks to connect to. Then I just get a spinning circle of doom that will spin for an hour and disappear. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, I've stood next to the router, I've turned things off and on and nothing works. It just never finds a network. I am completely at my wit's end and about to throw the printer out the window. Please someone tell me they have a way to make it work. And before anyone suggests it, yes I have to use my phone (Android 13) because my only computer is work issued and I cannot install my own software onto it.

Hi @cnevans09,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP DeskJet 3755 All-in-One Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
To assist you better:
- How far is the printer located from the WiFi router?
- Do you have a dual-band router?
- If you have a dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.
While you respond to that, Let's perform a power drain:
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle
