HP Smart App cannot connect to Wi-Fi

Downloaded HP Smart App and as per instructions I am trying to connect to the HP-printer wifi network (HP-Print-45-Photosmart 6520) from my iphone but it is not recognizing the password. I have tried all passwords - is there a way to reset it?

Everything works fine from my Mac otherwise..

Hi,

Isn't your printer connected to your home network? is the blus wifi light solid on, blinks or off?

Wireless Direct is required only when there is no router at home..

Regardless, if wireless direct password is still required go to Setup >  Wireless / Network settings on your printer. there select the Wireless Direct section and the password should be listed on its screen.

HI, thanks for responding but like I said, it connects fine to the home wifi network. The problem is arising when I try to install the 'HP Smart App' on my iPhone. That App is asking me to connect to the HP-network and then asking for a password. I cannot seem to find tnat password anywhere. I checked the printer setup screen and it is not listed anywhere. The video tutorial that comes along with the app does not show any password ... but when I click on the netwrik name, its asking for a password ;( PLease help!

We are having the same issue it’s asking for a password when trying to connect to the app wireless connection via Apple phone through settings
Very frustrating - printer will be launched through the window very soon
