HP deskjet 2600 printer

Hi, I’ve used the printer once, but my phone died half way through set up. Now when I try to use it, it’s asking for a password which I don’t know? What do I do!

lets follow the steps given below.

Step 1: Uninstall HP Smart app on the phone.

Step 2: Restore network settings to default settings

* Press wireless option on the printer.

* Scroll down and select restore network defaults.* Restart the printer.

Step 3: Install the HP Smart app again and try.

Let me know. 🙂

Hello.

thanks for the reply, sadly this doesn’t help with the fact it’s asking for a password which I don’t have

Do you have a wireless network?

Are you trying to connect the printer to a router or would you like to use it without a router?

Assuming you have WiFi at home, do you have its password?
