HP officejet 8702
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Officejet 8702 printer wirelessly connected to computer running windows 10 ver. 1903 wont print file sent to it from computer. Instead "Save Print Output As" window opens up wanting me to name file and choose folder. When I click on "print" I would like the printer to respond by printing.

Galae here again. The solution to my own question was so simple I'm embarrased. The problem was that the wrong printer was selected from the drop down list in the "File-Print" box. All that was needed was for me to select the right printer on the list. I have never had to do this in order to print but somehow the wrong printer had been selected hence the problem (now solved). thank you for your forum.

galae here. additionally, I have removed printer from computer and re-installed it. I have downloaded latest all-in- one drivers for the printer and installed them. I have rebooted the router, the printer and the computer in various order and still the problem persists. I hope this info helps.
