I’ve been using HP smart app to print for months. Just recently it won’t let me print through the app, the print button is there and isn’t greyed out but won’t click? Printer is all connected and working. It also lets me print through sharing but I can’t edit documents that way. Any ideas?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Is your IOS software up to date?
- Have you tried uninstalling and reinstall the HP smart app?
Try uninstalling the HP smart app and update the IOS software if available and then install software from app store: https://apps.apple.com/ne/app/hp-smart/id469284907
