Envy 13
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I'm a french student and i've bought a HP computer (Hp Envy 13). I've got the app "HP smart" on it. I will leave my home on September and I want to buy a printer (scan and photocopy to), but i've got an issue... I won't have any wifi in my apartment ! (Thanks mom and dad, I will have to work --')

I would like to know : Does the HP Smart app need wifi to print ? Then, which printers would be compatible with HP Smart ?

I've seen this printer (Hp envy 6230), but the description is talking about "HP ePrint"...

If you have other proposals feel free however I have a tight budget...

Thanks for your help,

And sorry for my English I'm a little bit rusty !

If you will be able to have access to wi-fi you can print using wi-fi direct. Wi-fi direct will create a local wireless network so that your computer and your printer can communicate between wirelessly.
