Hi everybody
Basically I bought the hp 2620 printer without realising it was compulsory to have wifi in your house, I dont have wifi in my house, I have the internet for my phone, I connected to the laptop and thats it, I tried to install the software in my printer but its impossible for my computer to recognise it even when I have connected my internet to the laptop, I bough an usb device as I read that you can connect the printer to the laptop without connection but its not working, I really need to use the printer, please, can someone help me?

A warm welcome to HP Support Community!
I believe we can use WiFi direct connection to connect the printer wirelessly to your Mac. WiFi direct will allow us to easily connect printer to other devices without requiring a wireless access point. You may use the following steps to connect the printer to a wireless capable device:
1.) On the printer control panel, press and hold the Wireless button and the Resume button together for three seconds.
2.) If the Wi-Fi Direct icon on the printer display keeps blinking, repeat step 1 again. The icon will stop blinking and stay on.
3.) Press the Information button to print a report that includes the Wi-Fi Direct name and password. If in case the WiFi Direct settings is set to Automatic, then it require a simple password of 12345678
4.) On your Mac, Click the Wi-Fi icon and choose the Wi-Fi Direct name, such as DIRECT-**-HP DeskJet 2600 series (where ** are the unique characters to identify your printer). If Wi-Fi Direct is turned on with security, enter the password when prompted.
5.) Click the Apple menu, click System Preferences, and then click Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners.
6.) Check if your printer name displays in the Printers list, If your printer is listed, click the printer name, click the minus sign to delete the printer.
7.) If you see multiple printer queues for the same printer, remove all extra printers by selecting them one at a time, and then clicking the minus button at the bottom of the list.
8.) Click the plus sign , click Add Printer or Scanner, click the printer name.
9.) Click the Use or Print Using menu, select AirPrint or secure AirPrint in the pop-up menu. Then click Add.
10.) Try to print.
Let me know how it goes!
