I use to use the HP ePrint app that worked GREAT!  Seemed to do everything I wanted, but it has been replaced by the new HP Smart app (I question whether is appropriately named).

With this app, under settings, it has a tab for remote printing, however the app will not find my registered eprint printers.

In addition, I have another HP eprint capable printer that I want to add to my account, but when I log in on my computer (to my account) and select add a printer, it asks for a claim code that I don't have (the printer is not here, it is at a remote location), however I do have the eprint address for this additional remote printer.  But it seems I cannot add the printer via the eprint email address, instead I have to enter the claim code (that I don't have access to from where I am).

How can I add a printer without a claim code?

Welcome to the HP Forums, this is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you want add the printer to HP Connected account. I would like to help you resolve this issue.

If the information sheet lists an email such as abc234vbn3434@hpeprint.com, then the printer claim code is the numbers and characters before @hpeprint.com. For example, abc234vbn3434 would be the printer claim code.

If the information page lists your current HP ePrint email address, such as myeprint@hpeprint.com, your HP Connected account is already set up and linked to your printer.

Click here and refer the document for more assistance on setting up HP Connected account.

Let me know if that helps.

Cheers.
