Hi all. I set up a printer in HP Connected and gave it a 'friendly' email address (the @hpeprint.com address).
Unfortunately I set up the wrong one (ie. the wife's, not mine), so I deleted it.
Now I have the correct printer set up but HP Connected won't accept the same 'friendly' email address as it says it's already taken.
How do I delete the 'already taken' friendly HP Connected address in order that I can re-use it?

Hi,
Do you have a single HP Instant Ink account or multiple accounts?
If you been using a mail on one account and deleted it, it can only be used on that specific account for 6 months and will be rejected on any other account..
I suggest reviewing 'Reuse a previous customized HP ePrint email address' below:

I don't know about an Instant Ink account, what's that?
I'm talking about the address@hpeprint.com address - the one where you email print jobs to your printer.

I'm not sure what that means.
1) I had a printer set up on the HP Connected website. I gave it a 'friendly' name.
2) I deleted that printer from HP Connected.
3) I added a different printer to HP Connected, so that I can print to it by sending emails to it.
4) I want to use the SAME 'friendly' name on the 2nd printer as on the 1st.
5) How?

Apologies,
I meant to HP Connected account (hpconnected.com), not HP Instant ink

I think my question falls under the category where I can IMMEDIATELY re-use the email address according to this criteria; “You purchased a new printer to replace an old printer and want to use the old printer's email address with the new printer on the same HP Connected account.”
However it tells me the email address is still in use. Any ideas why, or how I can get around it?
