How can I print using phone

Smartphones can print if HP Smart can be installed but it is not necessary to have HP Smart unless you want to scan.

Install HP Smart.

HP Smart requirements

Windows 10 Redstone 5 (version 1809) or later
macOS Big Sur (11.0) or later
Android (10.0) or later
Apple iOS, iPadOS 16 or later

For an iPhone one can print as follows:

• Email: Click the forward button and scroll down to the print command. Both my HP and Canon show up
• Notes: Click the forward button and select either Print or HP Smart to print.
• Messages. Cannot print them. I forward as email to my PC to print a message. If the message has an image it can be saved first and then printed
• Photos: Click the forward button then look for "Print"
• Attached PDFs: click the forward button and then select "Print"
