Welcome to the HP English Community --

This might -- or might not -- work.

Along with the other factors that impact success,

This printer type requires a larger print margin along the bottom edge.

Details / Examples

=============================

Printer - Margins

Printing - Important -

The printer requires a larger margin along the bottom edge (1/2 inch).

Borderless PrintingNo
Print Margin Bottom (A4)12.7 mm
Print Margin Left (A4)3 mm
Print Margin Right (A4)3 mm
Print Margin Top (A4)3 mm

There is no software, firmware, or alignment that changes the larger margin requirement.

The solution to "chopped off" is to keep all data inside of 1/2 inch / 12.7mm on the bottom edge.

This limitation includes all text, images, page numbers, footer information, cells, tables, lines, other notations, and all file types, too.

Create your original document with 12.7mm ( 1/2 inch ) margins.

Alternatively, and where it will work for you, Print the content as "Fit", "Shrink to Fit", or a percentage of 100% that will capture all the content on the page.

Printer - Job Configuration

This part depends your Operating / System version and the apps / software available for your use in that environment.

HP Smart - Mobile Printing

Photos tend to print one photo on each paper AND the print size follows the paper size.

Create a document that includes what you want to print - Export to PDF - Print.

Will it be the right size?  Unlikely.

Look for an application that does what you want in the appropriate App Store for your device.

Remember that margin limitation!

Example - Windows

Starting with

  • Full Feature Software installed
  • Paper Size / Type supported and loaded

Remember the margin limitation...
