I have an HP Photosmart D7360, which I am trying to get to print wirelessly. The most straightforward option so far has been to connect the HP BT500 bluetooth wireless adapter. With this adapter, I'm able to connect from all of my Mac and PC computers to print wirelessly via bluetooth. I cannot figure out, however, how to connect my phone (iPhone X) to my printer to print.
The manuals say to just go to the bluetooth settings on my phone and look for the printer as a discoverable device. Unfortunately, the printer does not show up as a discoverable device on my phone. I've also tried the HP Smart application, but that relies on 802.11 wireless connections, rather than bluetooth.
Does anyone know how to connect to this printer via bluetooth from an iOS device. OR is there an easy way, without buying an expensive print server, to get this printer to be available on my local wireless network?

A warm welcome to HP Support Community!
Instructions on how to print from computer, mobile phone, or tablet via Bluetooth is available here. If in case, the Bluetooth printer is not discoverable on your iOS device, then its possible that the printer is not compatible with iOS device.

Hi Senan6806,
Thank you for your reply. I did read that page, and tried to get my printer to display as a discoverable device on my iphone, but have not had any success there. To add some context here, my printer is not on the list on that page that suggest that it will work with the BT500 adapter either; however, it does work with my D7360 and connecting to Mac OSX computers. With all 3 of my Mac computers, the printer quickly displayed while searching for printers; however, did not display as a discoverable device from my bluetooth menu. First, do you know if there is some trick here with mobile phones to find bluetooth printers?
Second, Do you know if there is any way to update the firmware of the printer or the BT500 adapter to possibly get this to work? Could it just be an old Bluetooth version?
