Product: ENVY 4527
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just cannot get the Envy 4527 keyboard to enter a hyphen when trying to connect the password to the router. my old 5520 series was easy..this new one is different.

As I understand you want to know how to enter a hyphen into your password screen,

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution: 

Did you check your user guide for these details?

 

While you do that, here's what you need to know:

 

There will be a right arrow or down arrow, touch either of that, to get the symbols menu screen that should contain the hyphen.
