Hello!
I'm trying to sign up for Instant Ink but when I input my printer code it says it's already linked to a different account. Is there any way to unlink it from whatever account it is (honestly, no idea) to link it to my current account and hence contract Instant Ink?
Thank you so much in advance for any help

@Zoudan, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand you are not able to enroll the printer in Instant Ink. Was this printer owned by someone else before?
If yes, the previous owner has to delete the printer from his account.
Restart web services
Click here to know how to turn off web services. Refer to this document to know how to turn it on.
This will give you a new claim code.
You may refer to - Find the Printer Claim Code or Having Trouble Claiming Your Printer?
For assistance with enrolling the printer, refer to - Enrolling in HP Instant Ink
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

Hello Kumar!
Thank you so much for your response, please let me clarify to try to find a solution.
This printer was not owned by anyone previously, we bought it brand new, but I remember trying to get the free period for Instant Ink back then and -guessing here- I probably used an account that now I can't remember. It is weird though because I usually have a single account for all these things but apparently I have no printers linked to my default account nor my mother's account (this printer is actually hers).
So the problem now is that even it is and has always been our printer, I can't unlink it from whatever account it is linked to. Turning off and on web services would solve this issue? Or how should we proceed?
Thank you so much once again.
