To change the email address of your HP DeskJet 2700e printer, you may need to access the printer settings through the HP Smart app. Since you mentioned that the option "Manage Printer Settings" is missing, there might be a couple of reasons for this.

 

Here are some steps you can try:

 

Update HP Smart App: Make sure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app installed on your device. You can check for updates on your device's app store.

Reinstall HP Smart App: If updating doesn't resolve the issue, try uninstalling and reinstalling the HP Smart app. This can sometimes fix software glitches.

Printer Firmware Update: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware. You can usually find firmware updates on the HP support website. Follow the instructions provided by HP to update the printer firmware.

Check Printer Connection: Ensure that your printer is properly connected to the same network as your device. A stable connection is crucial for accessing and managing printer settings.

Hi!

 

Thank you for your help! Unfortunately it simply doesn't work! Everything looks fine, all network connections etc. The issue is that there is no option to Manage Printer Settings for the Webb services. I have a DJ2622 printer as well and can compare the offered options. For the DJ2622 I get the option to manage the webb services.

I have unistalled and reinstalled HP Smart on my laptop, as well as on my cell phone. No luck!

I guess I have to live with the random email address compiled by the system.
