Hi everyone,
I am using an Envy 4520 printer and it works great. However now I am trying to avoid as much as I can any WiFi signals because they causing me great disconfort.
This printer has USB port and Wifi capabilities. Now, since I would like to sign up for HP Instant Ink program and in order to do that the printer needs to stay connected to internet I am wondering if and how I could connect the printer using an ethernet cable. I will appreciate any suggestions.
Thank you

Welcome to HP Support Community
The HP Envy 4520 does not have the option for Ethernet connection.
To use Instant Ink the printer needs to be online all the time. So you will not be able to use Instant Ink Services without the Wireless
You can refer to the Printer Specifications: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-envy-4520-all-in-one-printer-series/5447920/model/5447921/do...
Thank you and have a great day 😊

You can connect your printer to your computer or phone using WiFi-Direct which doesn't require an internet connection
But you cannot connect to Instant Ink with the WiFi-Direct
To know more about WiFi-Direct please refer to page 37-38 in the User Guide: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04778353
Since the Printer doesn't have have an Ethernet Port to used wired connection, there is no other option to connect your printer except for wireless
