How to find MAC address on HP envy pro 6400-no home screen.

How do you find the MAC address for the HP Envy pro 6455 printer? It has no Home Screen button or display. It has about 4 buttons and none of them are a “Home Screen” as one HP expert already stated. I need to connect to a WiFi at my college and can’t unless I have the MAC address for the printer. Thanks.

Print a Network test page from the printer to obtain the MAC address

1. Touch and hold the Information button  for 3 seconds.

   All the control panel buttons light up.

2. At the same time, touch the Information and Resume buttons .

   A Wireless Network Test Results page prints.

I did that and it did not state my MAC address , I’m a student and need it to be able to connect to my university’s wifi

To know how to print test reports from the printer, refer to this document.

Printers may not work on guest/university network. You will need to have access to a wireless router.

If you do not have a ccess to a wireless router, you may use a USB cable or connect the printer and the computer via wifi-direct.
