HP DeskJet 2630

I have a HP printer, using Web services. The printer has a unique email address, which can be used to print from everywhere.

Everything works fine: when I send an email to the printer, it starts printing.

By the way, I don't know how to set the default printing settings, like:

- double-sided printing

- quality (normal or draft)

- color or black/white

Those settings are easy to set from my Windows PC, but those are applied only when printing from my PC.

How to set default printer settings for jobs sent via Web?

Thank you.

This might require remote access of the computer to fix the issue,I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

I hope that helps.

Welcome to the HP support community.

By default, ePrint uses the following print settings.

  • Print quality: Normal

  • Print color: Full color

  • Paper size for emails: Letter or A4

  • Paper size for image attachments: 101.6 x 152.4 mm (4 x 6 in)

  • Number of prints: 1

  • Paper orientation: Identical to the original document

  • 1-sided printing

For eligible printers, additional preferences are available when you add your printer on the HP Smart website. Go to Setting Up an Account on the HP Smart Website for steps to set up the account. Once added, click My Printers to change the settings.

  • Print in color or monochrome

  • Select plain or photo paper

  • Enable 2-sided (duplex) printing

Hello @sandytechy20,

thank you for your answer.

I had signed up my account on the HPSmart website, and added my printer.

When I click "My printers", I can see my printer (HP DeskJet 2600 All-in-One Printer Series), then the printer unique email address, then a box named "ePrint Access", with three options: open to everyone, blocked, allowed (open to everyone is selected).
No other boxes are present in this page.

Where I should go?

Thank you.
