We are trying to print to an HP OfficeJet Pro 6230 eprinter from a 64 bit Win7 Ent laptop that is connected to another network. The printer is connected to an iPhone's Hot Spot connection on a Verizon network. The laptop is connected to a Linksys router that is receiving it's internet connection via a Verizon LTE Internet and Home Phone unit.
We enabled Web Services on the HP OfficeJet Pro 6230 eprinter after being connected to the same network (iPhone Hot Spot). We also added the HP OfficeJet Pro 6230 eprinter to the HP Connected site.
Then we downloaded the HP eprint + Jet Advantage driver to be able to send print jobs to the printer from the laptop. The only way we are able to add the printer to the HP eprint + Jet Advantage list of connected devices is to be on the same network as the printer (iPhone Hot Spot). If we try adding it while connected to another network it never appears in the HP eprint + Jet Advantage list of connected devices.
How can we add this printer and use it when connected to another network?

Found another HP post that suggested going to the Connected tab within the HP ePrint + JetAdvantage page and searching for the printer using its email address. Once I did this the printer appeared with a cloud above the printer. I was successful in printing to it when connected to another network.
