I thought I could use this printer to print without wifi but dont see any way to set it up/install for wired use

This device is Wireless and USB only. You could get a usb print server if you absolutely wanted wired network printing.

What is the USB wire for if you need wireless to print? I thought having the USB wire allowed me not to rely on wi-fi. My wifi somtimes isn't working in my basement but I still need to print. Seems like all newer printers require Wi-fi and your information. I simply want to print written documents. Does a usb print server allow me to print without internet?
