HP Envy 5530
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I really want to kill the Wifi signal of my HP Printer. So that is doesn't broadcast any signal. The reason is to minimize the radiation exposure in my office for health purposes (remember Wifi is one big experiment on humans, folks).

HP Envy 5530 menu offers an option to turn off the wifi. When I use this option, the menu indeed says the wifi is turned off. However, my computer and mobile phone still see the wifi network strongly available (see the attached photo). Only when I turn off the printer, the Wifi signal will dissapear. In normal use, when the printer is on, I want to kill the Wifi signal.

Either by software or if nessecary taking it out in the hardware. If there is no option to do this, i will have to sell the printer and buy another one.

Please advice. Thanks in advance.

You need to turn off the Wireless Direct signal, not the Wireless radio.  There are 2 wireless radios in the printer.
