I changed my wifi password, and of course my printer can't connect. Setting this printer up on my wifi was single-handedly the most stressful experience ever, spending over 12 hours on the phone with HP support and many more hours trying things myself. But I finally found the answer and it has been working perfectly (printing from phone and laptop through wifi) for 2 years until now.

If I could remember my old password, I would change it back to avoid this. Am hoping I don't have to go through the entire setup again, because I am likely to throw my printer away before doing that.

Please help.

Follow the steps given in page no:53 in this link, to restore the factory-set defaults. Once done, you may configure the printer again which would fix it. 🙂

Let me know how that pans out.

I hope you have a good day ahead,

And Feel free to ask any other queries as  well,

Brachial, thank you so much for your reply. However, I have a hard time believing that I have to reset the printer and start all over just to change the password.

This printer was entirely too difficult to set up, so am likely to get rid of it rather than go through that torture again.

Hoping someone can tell me of an easier process to simply change the wifi password.

Thank you.
