Thank you for showing your interest in HP Support Forums. It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel. I see from your post that you need information and assistance related to password for your HP DeskJet printer. No worries, I'll be glad to assist you.
I see that the printer is asking for a password. Let's try entering 12345678 and check . This can happen If the Wi-Fi Direct connection security for the printer is Automatic.
If the Wi-Fi Direct is set to manual and you're not sure of the password, you can try to print Wireless Network Test Report and Network configuration Page :
This will have the information of the password information. For more details, please go through the User guide of your printer - Chapter 7. Connect your printer - Connect wirelessly to the printer without a router page number 65
Once done, you can try to follow these links which should help you connect the printer to the wireless network.
For Windows - HP DeskJet 2600 Printers - Wireless Printer Setup (Windows)
For Mac - HP DeskJet 2600 Printers - Wireless Printer Setup (Mac)
For printing using Wi-Fi Direct - HP Printers - Printing with Wi-Fi Direct
