I can't get my printer to respond to my husband's computer in the other room

We just moved into a new home and I've got my printer set up with our internet and it's working fine with my IMac.  I programmed it to allow eprinting and assumed that would work with my husband's computer in the other room.  The printer shows up readily on his computer, but when he tries to print something, nothing happens on the printer!  HELP!  What do I need to do to make it work???  It worked fine in our old home.

It sounds like an issue with the printer driver installed on the Mac. Removing the existing driver and adding a compatible printer driver may resolve the issue, let's try these steps:

1.) Click the Apple menu, click System Preferences, and then click Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners.

2.) Check if your printer name displays in the Printers list, If your printer is listed, click the printer name, click the minus sign  to delete the printer.

3.) If you see multiple printer queues for the same printer, remove all extra printers by selecting them one at a time, and then clicking the minus button  at the bottom of the list.

4.) Click the plus sign , click Add Printer or Scanner, click the printer name.

5.) Click the Use or Print Using menu, select the name of your printer in the pop-up menu. Then click Add.

6.) Try to print and scan.
