Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
- Make sure the HP Smart app is installed and updated on your Samsung S23.
- Open HP Smart and select your HP Envy Photo 7855 printer.
- Tap Print Photos or Print Documents and choose the file you want to print.
- Before printing, tap the Settings or Preview icon.
- Look for Color Options or Color Mode and select Color instead of Black & White or Grayscale.
- If the color option is missing, uninstall the HP Smart app.
- Reboot your phone, reinstall HP Smart from the Google Play Store, and sign back in.
- Reconnect your printer through the app using Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Direct.
- Attempt to print again and verify the color setting appears before confirming the print.
- If issue persists, go to Samsung Settings > Connections > Printing > Default Print Service, and make sure HP plugin is not overriding the HP Smart app. Disable any default print services if needed.
