The WiFi network in my dorm is password protected, and when attempting to wirelessly connect I get asked to input my password for the network. After putting in the correct password it still won’t connect. My WiFi network also disconnects every time it’s used so I’m wondering if that will be an issue when I eventually connect it.

@Mgar18

Many universities won't allow staff and students to connect private printers to their networks. Please contact IT department in your university to sort this out.

I would not try to connect to that kind of network, that is one way to invite my "neighbors" to use my printer with very expensive inks.

Regards.

Hi,

I understand you are trying to connect to a university wireless network and having difficulty.
Public WiFi is not supported.

You can enable WiFi Direct on your printer and print using this network.

These documents show how to enable WiFi Direct.
