I'm trying to set up an HP 2655 all in one printer through the HP ios ap. whats the password

I'm trying to setup the wirless function on my HP Deskjet 2655 all in one printer.  the ap for ios tells me to go to my wifi and connect to the HP site  when I select it it asks for a password. my wireless password doesn't work.  Nowhere did HP give a password to get to the next step.  Printer loaded  drivers and prints on linux mint 17 via USB  WTH is happening where do I get a password?

I understand that you are trying to print from your iOS device. I'd like help 🙂

First off, try this password: 12345678 - This is the default wireless direct password. 

Also, try installing the HP All-in-One Remote app (HP AiO Remote app) to print from your iPhone. Go to Apple store and install the HP AiO Remote app on your phone.

Did this default password work?  I got stuck at this same point yesterday.
