Hi @A312s,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To find the MAC address of your HP LaserJet 5100 printer, you can follow these steps:

Print Configuration Page:

  • On the printer control panel, press the Menu button.
  • Use the arrow keys to navigate to Information and press Select.
  • Navigate to Print Configuration and press Select again to print the configuration page.
  • This page typically includes network information, including the printer’s MAC address.

Check Printer’s Network Settings:

  • If your printer has a display screen, you can usually find the MAC address under the network settings or network configuration menu.
  • Navigate through the printer’s menu to find the network settings or status page.

Web Interface (Optional):

  • Some HP printers allow you to access a web interface where you can view and configure network settings.
  • Open a web browser on a computer connected to the same network as the printer.
  • Enter the printer’s IP address into the browser’s address bar and press Enter.
  • Navigate through the menus to find the network configuration or network settings page, where the MAC address should be listed.

Label or Sticker on the Printer:

  • In some cases, the MAC address might be printed on a label or sticker on the printer itself, especially if the printer has wireless capabilities.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
