Some passwords are linked to an ink account or to an ePrint account. You would have to log into your account and remove that information.

Some printers have an admin password to prevent tampering such as spam faxing and other mischief.
You will have to reset the printer. Search for "factory reset" and the name of your printer.
Be aware that If your printer requires special toners or cartridges for initial setup you may have a big problem if they are empty or cannot be found.

The only way to bypass is to perform a complete reset, which will vary by machine and will erase ALL settings. This is to protect users and their data. Being able to bypass passwords without clearing everything would be a security risk.
