I want to do borderless photo printing when i print something however it doesnt give me the option on my ipad

Welcome to the HP Community --

The printer might be restricted to certain paper sizes in combination with paper types for borderless printing.  This limitation is somewhat typical of some models though not always made obvious in the documentation.

If in doubt -- or if naught else works -- limit your borderless printing to photo paper or brochure paper types in the sizes available for those papers.

What else?

(Re)Check your settings for Paper Size & Type - Tray and Paper. 

Remember that the dedicated photo tray supports only those paper sizes and types meant to be used in that tray.  Other paper sizes must be loaded in the regular tray.

Next,

Use the Print Photos > Print > Transform > Resize & Move option

Select Resize > "Fill Page"
