I want to print both landscape and portrait documents from my installed

I have installed up e-smart on my tablet. It works fine but will only print landscape. I need to be able to print portrait as well

Have you attempted any steps on your own before posting on the HP Forums?

When was the last time it worked without these issues? 

In the meantime, please try the steps mentioned below:

After you hit "print" in the HP smart app, you will find an option to change the orientation. You may refer to this video and check from 52nd sec. 😉
