hello,
i have no end of issue with this and i would like to cancel my account - it has been a very frustrating printer service and I just want to leave it.
No simple instruction for anything - paper jams, ink - it is a minefield of information and there is no direct support - it is an appalling service - and here I am trying to cancel and can I find simple instructions! No - I would be grateful for simple instruction on how to cancel and I beleive I need to return the ink cartridges?

Thank you very much - this is helpful - I have cancelled my account.
Question ref returning the ink cartridges : do i need an envelope and if so how do I ask for one? And is there an address to send these to?
Thank you!

Well done.
You are welcome.
Returning the Instant Ink Cartridges?
Were it me, I'd contact Instant Ink Support and ask for help.
The "send to" address is printed on the free return envelope.
What else?
Wait here for an agent to find and respond to your query.
I'll put in a request - it is not always quick, but this generally works..
If all else fails - it should not do so but could -

Hello,
I have not received the recycling envelope and was wondering how long this tends to take - do they only send this once the account has expired - i am very concerned and unfortunately dont trust the processes -my experience with the printer has been an absolute nightmare and it seems that this continues - i just want to be free from from HP Ink jet - i would also like to ensure HP do not have my bank details and was wondering if i should also contact them ref this...and the big question, where do I begin with what is a minefield and hard to find infomation.....

Assuming you did contact HP and ask for a return envelope, then I cannot tell you how long it takes. The postal service in the USA is usually pretty quick - but "how long" does depend on the request having been processed at HP. If you cannot wait, take the cartridges to any recycle center in your area - HP will never chase you down for ink cartridge returns.
I cannot answer the bank information question - my opinion is that HP has absolutely no reason to keep your bank information if there is no subscription.
