HP LaserJet MFP M234sdwe Printer

Since installation, I have not been able to print remotely with any level of consistency on my HP LaserJet MFP M234sdwe printer.   One day it will print, the next day, all I will get are errors when trying to print remotely via HP Smart app on my Mac desktop.  The printer will show as connected, and the pdf file will send, but the print will never make it to the printer resulting in an error.  I am becoming very frustrated as my sole purpose in purchasing this printer was for its remote printing capability.

How do I get the HP computer to recognize this HPprinter when the printer info says it's connected and I get an error message when trying to print. I get a circle going around and around when I scroll up to the HP smart on the list from the start button. It was working fine last time I used it but then was connected with a USB to a different printer and when I came back to this one I get nowhere. Tried so many times. I have to print out my tax info tomorrow and am very discouraged with this product.
