HP Deskjet 2621
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello Team,

I have a HP Deskjet 2621 bought in India. The ink to be use in India region is 803.

However i have moved to Netherlands and my old cartridges are over, hence i bought new ink 304 series as suggested in the website link https://support.hp.com/my-en/document/c05367113 .

But the new cartridges are not getting detected and it seems i have to perform a region reset as suggested in the community post "https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/HP-Connected-Mobile-Printing-and-Cloud-Printing/Ink-cartridge-not-reco..."

Can somebody from HP support help me in changing my region so that i can use the new 304 cartridges.

Thanks in advance

Harry

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

To do a printer region reset you need to meet the following conditions:

1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.

2. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.

3. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region to which you want to reset it to.

Reply with the requested information for more assistance.

Cheers.
