HP Deskjet 2630 All-in-one-printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have a great problem regarding my Printer Cartridge. After purchasing new cartridge the printer says Cartridge Not Recognized.

For your kind information I have to point out some information so that you will understand the issue clearly.

1. I have purchased HP Deskjet 2630 All-in-one-printer from Middle East. I got two Cartridge with the printer. Cartridge Name: HP 123 Black & HP 123 Tri Color. These worked fine.

2.Now I have moved to Bangladesh (Asia Pacific Region) as I have posted here with a new job responsibility. I have to stay here in Bangladesh for a few years ahead.

3.As the Cartridge HP 123 finished, I have searched the same cartridge in Bangladesh. But I failed to get this HP 123 cartridge in Bangladesh. Then I searched HP website and come to know that in Asia Pacific region HP provides HP 65 cartridge for HP Deskjet 2600 series printers. Then I purchased two new Cartridge HP 65 Black & HP 65 tri-color.

4. But these HP 65 cartridges are not working with my printer. An error message shown that Cartridge not recognized or missing. Then I tried to use HP 123 cartridge, it works well.

5. So, now I have to use HP 65 cartridges in my HP Deskjet 2600 series printer. As HP says HP65 is also compatible with the printer, here is the source link (https://support.hp.com/my-en/document/c05367113)

So, please help me to fix the problem. How can I use HP 65 cartridges in my HP deskjet 2630 printer instead of HP 123 cartridge.

Thanks & Regards,

Wikimega

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
