@BruceArms (Switching to a public post as personal information is no longer being shared)

I'm the Riddle_Decipher & I'm writing on behalf of my colleague @Jeet_singh, as the tech is out for the day,

that said, I have reviewed your concern and the entire conversation, did some research and here's what I recommend:

I've confirmed that the shipment is almost there, according to the reports on my screen,

however, if there are any uncanny troubles in delivering the same on time, and you want to purchase the same offline you may use this link to validate the compatible ink that would fit into your device: Click here for details.

  • Europe, Middle East, and Africa:
    • HP 903, 903XL, 907XL Black
    • HP 903, 903XL Cyan
    • HP 903, 903XL Magenta
    • HP 903, 903XL Yellow

Note: This cartridges will not be a part of the HP Instant Ink program and the program page count will be halted temporarily until you insert the instant ink cartridges back into your printer, however, this doesn't mean the subscription will be halted as that will continue to be in place, as you aren't paying for the cartridge but the subscription and your monthly charges will apply either way.

I hope that answers your query,

Have a great day ahead.

Seriously? The advice is to go purchase a cartridge?

This suggests that a new ink cartridge is required which begs the question "what is the point/benefit of subscribing to instant ink?"

Beyond belief!

Am working at home late Saturday evening and my black ink has totally stopped - print is almost invisible and definitely not readable.  Went to my instant ink a/c and it says shipment "processing" but I need ink NOW!  Checked my printer's ink levels and black is almost totally empty and other colors are close to low.  Have received no notification from my printer that ink was this low and have received no notification from HP that they were sending me ink, under my instant ink account.  Need the ink desperately!    I have the OfficeJet Pro 6978, purchased July 2018 from Office Depot.  What ink cartridge do I buy in a local store that will work with this OfficeJet Pro 6978 - can't wait for HP to resolve why no instant ink has been sent to me.  And no, the ink shipment was not lost or stolen because my instant ink a/c history show no ink has ever been sent to me.  Help please!
