I need to go to a web page called WiFi direct where I can change my printers password. I typed my hp printers IP address into the internet and that page won’t load. My printer is HP Office Pro 8615. I am trying to print wirelessly like I was and this printer now always says “ wrong password”

Hi @Internetpain,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
I understand that you are facing issues with the printer not connecting to Wifi Direct.
If you're trying to access your HP printer's Wi-Fi Direct page using its IP address but the page won't load, there are a few things you can try:
Check the IP Address: Ensure that you're entering the correct IP address for your printer. You can usually find this information on your printer's display panel or by printing a network configuration page.
Connectivity: Make sure that your device (computer or mobile device) is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your printer. The Wi-Fi Direct page may not load if you're on a different network.2.4ghz
Firewall/Antivirus: Disable any firewall or antivirus software temporarily on your device, as they may be blocking access to the printer's IP address.
Browser: Try accessing the Wi-Fi Direct page using a different web browser to see if the issue is browser-specific.
Reset Printer: If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting your printer's network settings to default and set it up again. This should allow you to access the Wi-Fi Direct page.
