Hi
I know previously in the past it hasn't been possible to print only the attachment when using the HP ePrint feature but wanted to know if it is now possible to have the email contents and subject not print and only for the attachment to print.
The reason this is needed is for fax to email which sends an email to the HP ePrint when the fax arrives and the fax is a PDF attachment but the email has a basic one line message advising a fax has been received but this can't be removed due to relying on the fax top email company.
If someone from HP can confirm if this is now finally available as sure in 2017 it is a required feature.

Hi! @sac9829, Welcome to HP support forums.
I understand that you would prefer only the attachment to the email prints when sending an email to your printer’s ePrint email address.
Forward the email with a subject line but have the body of the email blank. That would allow for the attachment to be the only thing printed as the subject line is not printed whether there is content in the body of the email or not.
Refer this document to know how to use eprint services.
Let me know if this helps!
Have a wonderful day ahead! 🙂

Thanks for the reply.
But as mentioned above the email is sent from a third party (Fax to Email Service) so we can't modify the email that is being sent.
So would require to be able to disable the printing of the email contents from the ePrint online area or on the printer control panel itself.

@sac9829, thanks for the response.
Thanks for trying out the steps.
We don't have an option of disabling printing of email contents from eprint online area.
I am afraid that printing part of the email or a duplex print job are not supported while using the ePrint feature.
Hope this answers your query!
Have a great day ahead! 🙂

I also needed this feature. I found a way to achieve what I needed - I hope this helps somebody!
- I created a Gmail account and set up my emails to automatically forward a copy to that address.
- Then I signed up to IFTTT.com - they have the really useful applets to automate processes - it's really easy to use.
- They have an applet called "Save Your Gmail Attachments to Dropbox" - really easy to configure and it saves the attachment of any email into a Dropbox folder automatically.
- Then I used another of their applets called "Auto Print Files Added to your Print Folder" - so I pointed it to the Dropbox folder where the attachments are automaticlly saved by the other applet.
- And BINGO - whenever somebody emails me an attachment, it prints the attachment only.
- Note that the applet saves the attachments in sub-folders which are automatically named the email address which sent them - if all of the attachments you receive are from the same email address, then you don't need to do anything else. If you receive attachments from more than one sender, you'll need to set up an applet for each sender address.
- If any of this sounds complicated, then it's because I haven't explained it clearly enough - it really is a walk in the park and really self-explanatory when you start to set it up.
